Surviving the Fog of War

Awesome Tanks utilizes a strict line-of-sight system (Fog of War). The map remains totally black until you drive near it. This introduces a horror-lite element to the combat; you never know what is waiting around the corner. Upgrading your tank's radar range is crucial as it pushes the fog back, giving you precious extra milliseconds to react to a waiting ambush.
